EARINING MONEY ON MEDIUM WRITING
Newsletter Week 10 2024 — A Strange Week has passed
How my stats are figured after the first week of March

This has been the slowest start of a month yet expierenced on Medium. Views has gone way down — and so of course also reads and earnings.
Am I here to write? or Am I here to earn? Thats a question you have to face yourself to.
I am here to write first of all. Entertain. Inform. Read and have a fun time with other writers and get a view of other thoughts.
But I don't mind to earn a little on my efforts too. I have publiched 123 stories here on Medium!! In fact it is 125, because 2 are still disappeared.
Then yesterday — the mail with the “official” views and reads for week 10.

This huge difference in between these numbers showcased on the statspage and how it is counted otherwise. A difference from nearly 1000 views and 700 reads! How I don’t know. I just know, I didn’t earn in the same rhytm.

I have got more followers and I thank all you who follow me for your trust and curiosity.

This was the week, where I tried out a couple of longer writings. I co-worked with Douglas Wrucke on an ending to a crimestory. That was fun — I can only advise others to try! I should have worked the detective with much more psychology and toremented the poor perpetrators with much more play ping-pong on the motive and so on — I will leave that for the next one.

And I revealled my passion for cactus — a long year hobby and thoughts on why I love these plants. It is a long text, you might just want to see the beautiful pictures of the flowers! Feel free!!
I also worked futher on Upwork with the company that I have been talking about in the last weeks. You can follow it here:
I have earned more at Upworks than on Medium this week…..
My plans about a publication are a bit struck with waiting, I hope to fly very soon into that world. Bogdan Sasu, didn't you get my mail? I wait in excitment on your answer ❤️
