Every year is filled with exciting potential. Many people make New Year’s resolutions with a list that will transform their health, career, or finances.
After a few days or weeks, many start to find themselves right back in the same mode they were in the previous year.
After a while, it’s business as usual, and the New Year hype has ended often giving them imposter syndrome and sinking even further into depression.
21 Days to Form a Habit

Studies show it takes a person 21 days to form a habit and this is important because people tend to gravitate towards routines.
Acknowledgment is the first step to recognizing a need to shift one’s mindset. This is then followed up by actionable items that will essentially reprogram the brain from what it was accustomed to before.
In sports, they have a science called muscle memory in which your body actually remembers the force and energy required to perform a task.
Daily Memory

The brain also has daily memory that will kick in each day according to your daily routine and tasks.
If anything is going to change it’s going to require hacking the brain’s way of thinking to create new and productive habits to yield desired results.
So let’s be aware of what slows us down this year and begin generating new habits that will produce the results we desire to see.
