New Kid on the MEDIUM block — What I Learned — Do’s and Don’ts

First and foremost I would like to thank the creators — authors of MEDIUM for creating such an amazing platform. I would also like to thank all the other platforms such as ILLUMINATION, Polyglot Poetry, and ASSEMBLAGE — just to name a few for providing wonderful platforms for writers of all genres to share their stories.
I’m a storytelling — this is my greatest love with equally loving animals and mother nature.
May 9, 2020 was my first post on Medium — — I was excited. I had years of storytelling to share. And that’s exactly what I did. I posted years of work in just a few days — — And there were a lot of posts!!!
EXCITED WRITERS — STORYTELLERS TO MEDIUM OR ANY OF ITS SISTER PLATFORMS — — POST ONLY A FEW A DAY.
WHY? Too many posts in one day as I have done devalue all of my posts as the algorithm can’t keep up — Jonathan from Assemblage kindly shared this wise tip with me in an email. Thank you Jonathan.
Like I said — I was so excited to share my stories, as I was equally eager to read other stories. I jumped right in!
ILLUMINATION: Post a maximum 5 stories / day. I overwhelmed the editors with my millions of posts — — which I felt I was just catching up. Stay cool writers!!! You’re work is getting published by you — so you know what you’re doing! A little bit a day is better than a whole lot of dumbing in one day!!! Thank you Timothy Key for your guidance — very much appreciated. Again, sorry to all of you for the inconvenience!!!
POLYGLOT POETRY: If you write in both English and ANOTHER LANGUAGE — — post your poetry in both languages or many languages as you know — — not just in English. I understood Polyglot Poetry accepted poems in English — — NO — they accept in English BUT must also be written in another language to be accepted. Thank you Salam Khan for your guidance — very much appreciated. Again, sorry to all of you for the inconvenience!!!
