New Framer Joins The Editorial Team

Full Frame welcomes a new editor

Full Frame is experiencing a surprising growth spurt. The number of stories that are being submitted (50+ in the first two weeks of July) means that we needed an extra pair of sharp eyes in order to edit and publish your work expeditiously. Nobody likes to wait to be published.

We are pleased to announce that the very talented Gareth Willey has joined the Full Frame editorial team.

Gareth has been a photographer for fifteen years. He has a passion for vintage lenses — which have helped him develop his style as an artist. Here is a sample of his work:

Gareth lives in Wales, UK, which means that we now have an editor in the Western European Time Zone. That helps the Framers who live across the pond, who now no longer have to wait for the rest of us to wake up to get their stories published.

One of the endearing qualities that Gareth brings to the table is his ability to strengthen the photographic community. He will often contact other photographers asking their opinion on specific issues which he then shares with the community.

Here are a couple of good examples:

Gareth is not a one-trick pony. He writes on a variety of subjects outside of photography. He will tell you It’s Time to Shut Down Medium’s Referral Program. Or that It Baffles Me How Cameras Still Don’t Have Geotagging. Or will simply report on his terminally cute cat. King George Wishes to Inform You on His Life at the Present Time

The bottom line is that Gareth is a tremendous asset to the Medium community as a whole, and we are very pleased to have him as part of the Full Frame editorial team.
