Never Repeat My Mistakes!
A Journey of Hard-Earned Wisdom.

Have you ever poured your heart into a blog post, hit ‘publish,’ and anxiously awaited responses, only to be met with silence?
Did you feel like your words were invisible?
Or are you a new writer, eager yet uncertain about the daunting world of content creation?
Honestly, I’ve been there too.
What I’m about to share is not just a story; it’s a journey, one filled with highs and lows, triumphs and trials, and most importantly, the lessons learned along the way.
Set high expectations:
I’ll admit, like many others, I used to have high expectations.
I hoped to see those magic numbers skyrocket after days, weeks, or even months of hard work.
But here’s the catch — that’s the biggest mistake and the worst mindset you can have!
Let’s be honest; there’s no instant success in this world, especially when you’re venturing into the realm of online influence.
So, never anticipate a rapid ascent; it’s a journey that takes time.
Most importantly, keep learning.
Too ambitious:
As a solopreneur, I soon realized that the road to success isn’t a sprint; it’s more like a marathon with hurdles along the way.
My plate was overflowing with tasks, and the hours in a day felt insufficient.
I was trying to juggle it all — from building a website from scratch to dipping my toes into various social platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, all while keeping up with my writing on Medium.
To top it off, I had household chores and a child to get ready for school.
Here are the 3 INVALUABLE LESSONS that have become my guiding light on this journey, amid this chaos and occasional overwhelm.
1. Stay Focused:
In a world where distractions lurk at every corner, staying focused is like having a reliable compass.
I realized that trying to conquer multiple mountains at once only led to exhaustion and limited progress.
So, I made a conscious choice to tackle one challenge at a time.
Instead of stretching myself too thin, I chose to channel my energy into mastering my writing skills on Medium while simultaneously delving into the world of Python programming and Prompt Engineering, all with a clear direction and long-term goals in mind.
The result? A newfound sense of clarity and progress that wasn’t diluted by trying to do it all at once.
2. Be Consistent:
Consistency, I discovered, is the quiet hero of content creation.
Writing consistently isn’t about expecting instant fame; it’s about laying a strong foundation of quality work that stands the test of time.
I realized that having zero expectations in the early stages allowed me to focus on honing my craft.
It’s a journey, not a race, and embracing this mindset has been incredibly liberating.
3. Limit to 2 Social Platforms First:
While the allure of being everywhere at once can be tempting, I learned the importance of restraint.
Rather than spreading myself too thin across numerous social platforms, I decided to concentrate on just two: Medium for my writing and LinkedIn for publishing my work.
This approach allowed me to dedicate more time and energy to each platform, fostering genuine connections with my audience.
I know I’ll expand my reach over time, but for now, I’m all about quality over quantity.
Key Takeaways:
Though I’m still far from achieving my ultimate goals, I’ll never give up.
I’ve come to realize that in this journey, mindset is everything.
As long as we stay on the right path, no matter how winding it may be, success is merely a matter of time.
So, to all those pursuing their passion, remember this:
Never, Ever Give Up! Keep Learning. Keep Growing!
Your path may be perplexing at times, but your unwavering determination and the lessons learned along the way will light your way forward.
In addition to these, I continue to uphold my 5 core principles every single day.
