Networked Tech For Writing
Connected for convenience, comfort, and creativity.

Every writer has their own workflow.
For me, convenience and comfort are vital ingredients for creativity. Easy access to your devices and documents eliminates a lot of the distractions encountered when you are mobile and attempting a creative endeavor.
Where I am incorporating my photography background into my writing, convenient access to images is a necessity.
This is where the marvels of technology enter the picture to facilitate all the conveniences of access.
This story is originating on my iPad, as most of my others do. It is highly mobile and accessible. Final editing and publishing usually take place on my laptop, and the bulk of my photography post-production work takes place on a desktop in my studio.
Leveraging your tech for convenience is not all that complicated these days with available apps and private networking capabilities in current operating systems. Multidirectional file access is a key to productivity and convenience.
OneDrive and FE File Explorer are the two primary apps on my iPad that provide access to both my laptop and desktop files. I can also facilitate access in the reverse direction to work produced on my iPad from both my laptop and PC through the same file-sharing capabilities.
Not every writer works with multiple devices, but if you are one, you surely understand the convenience of your devices being connected.
