Nepotism- The Nauseating Virus of this Era.
Realization of nepotism in day to day life among common people.

Neither fortunately nor unfortunately, one of the most controversial and devastating topics of the year 2020 award belongs to nepotism.
It became a hot topic to speak and express our grievances by both common people and native netizens after the suicide of Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput who has a great following of audience by his subtle acting skills and energizing performances in his well-written movies.
Instead of speaking about his decision to end his valuable life in just a single day and relate his death with instigating nepotistic industry, I would like to throw some light upon things where nepotism has entangled our day to day lives and sometimes it has impacted on us directly or indirectly.
As we all know every great person from history like Aristotle, Confucius has condemned the way of life in nepotism and the most ancient philosopher and futurist Thiruvalluvar also pointed it out to be unwise and filthy-virus to the human society.
I don’t like to take a stand for or against favoritism but every industry like education, sports, politics, business, entertainment, etc….are facing this common problem that favors a certain group of people and their family crew and not for the rest of the common citizens.
This is a great nuisance for common people who belong to non-nepotistic backgrounds because when the nepotist puts a huge mental stress kind of thing for the reason of not being in their beloved circle, it is practically impossible to handle the pressure by common people with nil favoristic group.
There are high possibilities for them to go into a deep depression, which may lead to wrong decisions that can de-construct the whole life of the base level crowd.
Favoritism- The hierarchy’s delight :
To be honest every one of us would have been affected/ witnessed at one place/time where we become infuriated by some kind of nepotism or favoritism in educational institutions, temples, our workplace, any official events, etc..
In all these places, we could notice that every common industry which is open to the entire world has never missed giving importance or everything they could provide for a certain group of people and their hierarchy people, relatives, and not for other hidden diamonds in our society.
We generally think that this difference inequality is only for the cinema society most of the time as that industry has been a great influence and a mass medium to the grass-root level people.
But the real fact is that every successful industry has supported favoritism in one way or the other.
Have you ever experienced the pain of losing a golden opportunity only because of not being relative or not in the hierarchical order of sophisticated or celebs who continue to dominate and compete among themselves?
Sometimes it is hard-hitting to accept that we live in a society where favoritism oppresses the grass-root level people from unleashing their true talent but giving a night and day delight for the nepotists or their offsprings only for the sake of familiarity/known relatives etc…
I don’t oppose or am not against the hierarchial rights or their freedom to be on the top of the order but at the same time, there should be equal opportunities for true talents who do not have any favoristic backgrounds.
Change must be from our inner self :
I feel that every one of us(not only big shots) usually needs or requires a known person or familiar people to give us importance wherever we go and help us to seek special attention and for getting our work done(sometimes including me ).
For instance, when waiting in a queue for any objective to be done, many of us usually think to search for people who have some influential powers to get the work done and also he/she may be favorite/relative for the person in the queue.
All the people would be standing in the same queue for such a long time but out of impatience, we would try to find such people so that the work is easily done.
So here comes the base problem of nepotism where there is an imbalance in the distribution of importance only for the sake of being/not being his/her relative or known people.
This is the root of favoritism to start with. This builds a strong foundation for nepotism to grow and it becomes the epitome for everyone.
We always tend to point out only the personalities in the higher standard of living ignoring that we do this on a day-day basis.
As the topic headline says “Change should be from us and it is us who can break this kind of inhuman desire”. “ Change from the bottom of your heart and not for the sake of others”.
Hence from this minute, we must take a vow that we all belong to one and we should unite together to ensure the equality of everyone, every time.
Quality check=balanced opportunities :
I would like to say that there should be a balanced way of providing opportunities where it should be transparent and accessible for even under- poverty line people who could be much more talented/skilled/deserving to rise and achieve.
To ensure the line of balance among these nepotistic people, there should be even stronger law that should be imposed to eliminate the concept of the relative/non-relative stuff and should try to draw the bright line of equality among people and in their minds as strong as possible in all the fields of work.
This law should bring the change that everyone must be subjected to a common entrance skill evaluation to ensure the quality/deservability of real diamonds and its value rather than giving importance to people for the sake of familiarity/being relative to the respective influential person.
I wish that the quality check of a person, importance, respect, judgemental decisions about one should not be a biased one for the sake of one’s offsprings/relatives.
The main motive of all of us should be “eradication of dissimilarities in providing opportunities, importance, respect, and everything that people deserve and make them feel secularized to the core level.
I believe that the concept of oneness will vanish the favoritism of one group.
I hope that this small idea would improve the entire life of a non-nepotistic society and I would be happy to see if it happens equally for everyone.
Live, let live. Happy living…
