Need More Sales? Find More Buyers On Fiverr With This Simple Strategy
Increase your sales using this easy step
What is Fiverr? Fiverr is one of the world’s latest platforms online where you can tap into unlimited earnings, depending on your gig. You can start charging $5 for writing an article, or you can charge what you want. I recommend doing $5 gigs until you get enough reviews to increase your gigs and you can charge more. Did you also know that on Fiverr you can request a tip, afterward? I have been successful in requesting tips after the work is done.
However, getting your first sale on Fiverr is a bit of a challenge. I worked on Fiverr off and on for about 2 years, making about $2,000 to date. It’s a side gig that I don’t actively promote but will take the occasional request whenever the work interests me.
If you have posted a few gigs and have no sales, there is a temptation to give up and go on to another platform. It takes time to gain traction on Fiverr and it’s just like Medium where you have to put in the time and attention to your gigs.
Why work on Fiverr? There are many reasons. One is that you have a talent like graphic design and are also good with web design. There are a whole bunch of niches that are available and many people are making a good income. I have personally bought $5 gigs that include psychic readings, as well as a book cover until I learned to make it myself. Many people are also successfully working on Fiverr on a full-time basis!
Once you have a few gigs published on Fiverr, your good reviews will get you noticed. So do your best with every gig and make sure the clients are satisfied.
So now that I got you all pumped up, here’s how you can get more clients. First, create your profile and add a few gigs that focus on your interests like writing and proofreading, for example.
- Open up the Fiverr app.
- Go to the Seller mode of the app.
- Click on Buyer Requests.
That’s it. Once you click on the Buyer Request option, you can start sending offers to as many buyers as you like. Make sure that you are qualified to do the task and allow enough time to complete the task.
I personally allow at least 3 days to complete the task and often send in the completed job within the deadline.
As of today, I am showing a buyer posting a job for typing documents and paying as much as $2800.
Another buyer has posted a simple $5 task for completing an affiliate offer. This is for United States sellers only.
There is a $5 task from a buyer seeking someone to write 600 words and delivery within 24 hours.
Keep in mind that some buyers expect a world from you for a measly $5. I don’t do large tasks for $5 anymore but I used to do it in the beginning. If you are just starting out, do the grunt work first, then gradually increase your price point.
Of course, you can reverse the request and put in your own buyer request, and ask for a writer who can do an article for $5. I put in an offer for sellers to do small tasks and I got tons of replies.
Right now on the buyer request tab, you can see another buyer is willing to pay sellers to write reviews of books online, and even post videos. The buyer's budget is $100.
But getting back to the buyer request option. If you need more sales, please check this out because this is a potential gold mine for new and existing sellers.
To prevent being a victim of fraud, do not take your transactions outside the Fiverr site. You may not get paid for your hard work. I have had a few bad buyers who want to do the sale offline and I have politely declined and blocked them after they refused to do a proper transaction.
Til next time.
