Need A Little Help Remembering Where You Left Your Keys?

Gingko Biloba

Created in Canva by Nancy Blackman

Native to China, this tree has existed before the Ice Age. Its fan-shaped leaves are used to treat numerous ailments, such as cognitive function, headaches, dizziness, and stomach disorders.

The active ingredients of the ginkgo leaf can improve circulation and vasodilation, but most notably in the cerebral area, which is why it rates high for cognitive function. But, don’t discount its value for Alzheimer’s, dementia, or even strokes.

I make a ginkgo tincture, taking a dropperful every day to ward off memory loss.

How to make a tincture:

In a 16 oz mason jar, fill 2/3 with ginkgo leaf Fill the jar with 80–100 proof vodka, gin, or brandy Make sure it covers all of the herbs Let it macerate for 6 weeks in a dry/dark spot Shake daily

Strain and enjoy!
