Nature Prevails
Poem for DEP Poetry Prompt #3

Nature always amazes me.
A beautiful sunset, a view of a beach, driving through rivers, mountains and lava rocks. Nature has a way to wow a moment and stop us in our tracks to watch a sunrise or a sunset. View of waterfalls and rainforests are just a few of my favorite amazing activities to do when it comes to nature. I love to walk on the ground barefoot, feel the forest under my feet, feel the sand between my toes and hug trees.
My poem this morning inspired by nature:
Nature Prevails
Stones of the Earth,
Formed from pouring Lava,
Rambling roar,
Coming your way.
Fire and Stone
Had formed this land,
Way before we came to the present.
Rivers and Oceans
Rule the world,
Making pathways
That cut through this Earth.
Rain and wind forms the land,
They give and take though the land.
Sun shines with vibrating beams.
Life emerges from soil and seed.
Here we are on this wonderful Earth,
Living our days
Like we own the place.
In truth we are a speck of seed,
In the end:
Nature Decides where we Stand.
