Native Bees in Son’s Garden.
Beautiful Spring Day and Bees in my Son’s garden.

Australia has eleven species of small black stingless bees, About 4 mm long, Build resinous nests inside hollow trees.
Think the stingless native bees in garden are tetragonula carbonaria, Native range in Queensland and NSW, Excellent pollinators, Nest produces “tangy” honey in small amounts.

Standing near stunning blooms, Enjoying flight little bees pollinating flowers, Heart’s joy and peaceful thoughts, Son’s garden, Grandkids exploring.

Sitting on grass happily inelegant, Spring’s sun warming back, Patting dog scratching ear rubbing tummy, Watching bees, Kookaburras and magpies among roadside trees, Sulphur crested cockatoos near me eating sunflower seed sulphur crested flying pig.

New butterfly lands for adoration, Son retrieves butterfly book, He and kids identify it, Tell me name, In one ear and out the other, Bug with wings, Somehow seems life teems around his house, Native plants local species come to feast, Magpies courting, Frogs procreating, Grandfather ruminating.

Back on feet walking around, Son taking pictures, Beautiful white flower, Reminds me of my snapdragons.

Standing by rose garden, Stunning glory mind and eyes traverse each ruby petal, Each a verse Gaia’s poem.

From vivid roses to delicate and fragile wax flowers.
If life’s travails unfolded and conspired to leave me here amongst family and garden life then I am truly blessed this day.
Blessed be.
