Summary

The provided text posits that Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is not only a psychological condition but also a spiritual affliction that has profoundly negative effects on individuals and society, with narcissists often exhibiting a lack of empathy, manipulative behavior, and a connection to malevolent forces.

Abstract

The article "Narcissistic Personality Disorder is the First & Original Spiritual Disease" delves into the concept of narcissism, suggesting that it is more than a personality disorder—it is the original spiritual disease. It argues that the term 'narcissism' itself is a source of confusion, potentially coined by a narcissist to obfuscate the true nature of the disorder. The core of narcissism is identified as a profound lack of empathy and remorse, with narcissists viewing others as tools for their own benefit rather than as individuals with their own emotions and experiences. The text underscores the manipulative capabilities of narcissists, who can distort reality and language to their advantage, often leaving victims unable to articulate their abuse succinctly. Furthermore, the article suggests that narcissists may be influenced by dark, demonic forces, aligning with historical beliefs in the existence of evil. The pervasive influence of narcissism in society is highlighted, with narcissistic traits often being mistaken for desirable qualities, thus providing cover for those with NPD. The article concludes by emphasizing the need to recognize and combat the insidious impact of narcissism on a spiritual level to protect individual souls and the broader fabric of civilization.

  • The author argues that narcissistic traits are encouraged and admired in society, which not only spreads their negative influence but also masks the true malevolence of those with NPD.
  • Narcissists are said to engage in psychological warfare, using coercive control to dominate their victims without leaving physical evidence of abuse.
  • The article posits that all narcissists seem to follow a similar script in their abusive behavior, which could be likened to a form of demonic possession.
  • Modern psychiatry's reluctance to engage with the spiritual aspects of narcissism is seen as a protective barrier for narcissists, as it avoids acknowledging the existence of spiritual diseases.
  • The author implies that society needs to confront the spiritual dimension of narcissism to prevent the continued destruction of human souls and civilization.

The term narcissism must have been created by a narcissist

The term narcissism confuses the nature of the disorder

The term is confusing. People do not always agree with the definition. This is how you know the term narcissism must have been created by a narcissist.

Let’s start with the origin story. Narcissus is a young Greek hunter who falls in love with his own reflection in a lake. He eventually dies, unable to look away from his own reflection. This story has nothing in common with the clinical definition of narcissism and those who exhibit narcissistic behavior.

The very term itself creates confusion, causing those whom narcissists victimize to question whether they really are going crazy or if they are being abused by a narcissist. Confusion is a tool of the narcissist. This confusion is why it is important to isolate one key trait that identifies these people so that we may protect ourselves from the danger of being in the orbit of a narcissist.

Lack of empathy, lack of remorse

I believe the key element is a lack of empathy. Empathy, of course, is another vague term. The very language we use has been subverted by these abhorrent people, making it difficult to identify them or even to discuss their abusive methods. A basic definition of empathy is what you feel when you witness someone going through a hard time. You want to reach out to help them, but often cannot.

Empathy is the ability to see ourselves in others. It is the recognition of the basic humanity of others. It is the understanding that other people, like yourself, have emotions and their own life experiences. In the most basic sense, narcissists cannot see other people as people. Other people are seen as tools to be manipulated. Narcissists do not recognize that other people have had painful emotional experiences in their past. The experiences of other people are always secondary, If they exist at all, to the experiences of the narcissist.

It is from this perspective that they can so easily invalidate the experiences of others. No matter the degree of trauma another person has been through, their experiences never measure up to those of the narcissist. From the narcissist’s point of view, if they stubbed their toe five years ago, and it was painful for a couple of minutes, that experience is more significant and more painful than someone who had been violently gang-raped last night.

They cannot lend credence to the suffering of others. Even if they can see the trauma, even if they acknowledge that someone else’s trauma happened, in their core, they can never extend empathy to another person. Their own painful or traumatic experiences always reign superior to those of others. This stems from the narcissistic idea that they are more real than other people.

I became certain that I was in a relationship with a narcissist when they “accidentally” killed someone in the workplace. Besides showing no remorse, it angered them that their employer paid for the funeral of the person who lost their life. The narcissist felt that that act of human empathy was equivalent to an admission of guilt. The narcissist was further enraged at the person they had killed because that person ruined the narcissists' perfect record at work.

The spirit of narcissism has an agenda

What seems to be greatly overlooked is the extent and the depth that narcissists have influenced our reality. There are narcissists in every part of society. There are narcissists in all professions. They are masters at manipulating reality. They can infiltrate and manipulate the minds of ordinary people.

They are capable of actions that normal humans would never consider. They can nullify their humanity — if they have any — to cause damage and inflict pain on others in ways that are horrific, shocking, and unbelievable to all normal non-narcissistic people.

It’s that capacity for unbelievable cruelty that acts as a shield, protecting the narcissist. When normal people hear of what they did to inflict pain on their victims, their gut instinct is to reject it. Their actions are so abhorrent that the normal human mind rejects as possible the abuses that narcissists have inflicted on others. They perform acts of cruelty beyond what the normal human mind can imagine is possible.

They have damaged the collective human soul more than we know, and beyond what we are aware of. This manipulation includes the manipulation of language. This acts as another shield protecting the narcissist from retaliation. They have manipulated the language, redefining words, confusing definitions, and lessening the emotional impact of certain words to protect themselves.

They operate in all the grey areas of life. In case you haven’t noticed, everyone who discusses narcissistic abuse has great difficulty communicating their experiences. This is intentional. Narcissistic abuse is profoundly detailed, making it difficult to impossible for a victim to describe it within the time people usually give victims to tell their story.

The victim will always leave out key details when recounting an episode of narcissistic abuse. Episodes of narcissistic abuse are inseparable from the environment in which they occurred. They are usually part of a chain of connected events. The nature of the type of abuse they engage in can be described as the layers of an onion.

We cannot separate any episode of abuse from the details surrounding it. Each episode is connected to others and is layered and overlapping. Just like when you peel an onion under one layer there is another, then another. This is how you should see the insane and twisted world of the narcissist.

Narcissists have successfully manipulated our culture so that we think that those who try to give long-winded, complicated answers to simple questions must be lying. We are conditioned to prefer simple answers due to the narcissistic manipulation of our minds/culture. This acts as another shield for the narcissist. Another layer of protection.

Simple questions should have simple answers. Narcissists have taken advantage of this situation. They ensure that their abusive patterns are not easily exposed. They plan their abuse so that when simple questions are asked, their victims cannot answer simple questions completely without giving a complicated, long-winded answer.

Narcissists are under the influence of dark, demonic forces

Narcissists believe they are superior to the rest of humanity. They think of themselves much like Marvel’s X-Men. They believe that they have evolved beyond their humanity. They see human emotion and empathy as a weakness. It is a weakness they allow for themselves, but the expression of emotion is a luxury they do not extend to others.

This makes narcissists truly demonic. Again, society was manipulated into disregarding the existence of actual evil on this planet. As the saying goes, the Devil’s greatest deceit was getting humanity to believe that he doesn’t exist. Before modern times, the existence of good and evil was not as dismissed as it is today. The human race has a 5,000-year history of believing in the existence of dark, demonic forces.

It is only in the past 100 years that this attitude has changed. This acts as another layer of protection for the narcissist. We look at people who believe in the possibility of demonic influences as less intelligent, perhaps a bit off-kilter, and out-of-touch with reality, and therefore less believable. At least for the past 100 years.

Narcissistic traits are encouraged by our society. Many people look up to narcissists since they are often successful. These people try to emulate narcissistic traits so that they can also achieve success in business or politics. This offers some cover for those with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), the most harmful and malignant narcissist.

Normal people have taken to adopting some aspects of narcissistic behavior spreads the darkness, making their evil traits seem admirable. This spread of their vileness also provides further cover, with less hurtful people (i.e. selfish jerks), masking these evil, demonic spirits.

Narcissists seek to undermine the souls of their victims through coercive control. They will dominate a person by controlling what they eat, the way they dress, who they may associate with, the type of job they are allowed to have, which companies they can work for, their sleep schedule, and much, much more.

This is psychological warfare. It nullifies the spirit of their victim. It does so often without resorting to physical abuse, leaving no evidence. The threat of physical abuse is often enough to get victims to comply with the narcissist's demands.

Narcissists are very careful not to leave any evidence of their abuse, so they often will not engage in physical abuse unless they feel it is absolutely necessary. This leaves their victims with no evidence that any abuse occurred in the first place. This is one example of how narcissists operate in grey areas. What they do isn’t legal. It isn’t exactly illegal either.

Narcissists all use the same methodology to victimize their targets

Narcissists are willing participants in what we used to call demonic possession. They have given up their humanity, their ability to empathize, for the supposed benefits promised by evil spirits. This is how they seem to know things they couldn’t possibly know. Sharing their bodies and minds with demonic spirits grants them a level of communication unavailable to the rest of us. This is also why all narcissists seem to operate from the same script. Compile a list of narcissistic quotes from their victims, then compare them side by side. This is why narcissists are habitual liars. They have often been lied to themselves by those these spirits they let take over their lives.

Narcissists, regardless of age, sex, or geographic location, all use the same vocabulary. They all gain control over their victims following the same steps. This is where the mythical concept of “selling your soul to the devil” comes from.

Narcissism is a spiritual disease. Since our modern-day culture undermines the very concept of the existence of spirits, this makes yet another layer of protection for narcissists. If spirits don’t exist, then spiritual diseases cannot exist. This is the reason that psychiatry has mostly avoided any discussion of narcissism. They don’t want to get bogged down in any discussion that involves a spiritual realm. Also, many psychiatrists are narcissists.

Even though the Bible is not a perfect reference when discussing the entities found in the spirit realm, it is familiar to most of us and can be used as a reference as long as we acknowledge the fact that it is an incomplete work of many men from different ages, each with their own opinions. The Bible does not use the term narcissism or narcissist, but it describes these people, warning us about them. Modern-day Christianity often uses the term “spirit of Jezebel” to equate with narcissism.

As Cassandra Morar says in the Quora link above, sometimes the answer is in the spirit realm. Modern-day narcissists have an agenda. Part of that agenda is to deny the existence of a world of spirit. To our great detriment, they have successfully infiltrated and manipulated our culture, language, laws, and individual beliefs to their advantage.

Being mostly successful in life and rewarded for their horrific, self-serving behavior, they have, for the most part, avoided psychological diagnosis. This has minimized their effect on the world. What we call narcissism is the first original psychological/spiritual disorder.

Through us, narcissists have cleverly been able to hide their existence and all evidence of their abuses. They have existed since the beginning of time. As a group, they have done more damage to individual human souls and civilization beyond our current awareness.

We need to take back our society carefully from the control of these people. They seek nothing less than the destruction of the human species.
