My Wild, Rebellious Soul, Part1
On being me

“…for unless I am myself, I am nobody.” ~ Virginia Woolf
suns collide planets crash the universe goes on..
it seems I am not who I was yesterday.. today.. tomorrow..
loving elusive freedom working for a paycheck sitting calm before nature’s power and stillness.
genetics experience state of mind and body the soul knows what it wants
what was my face before I was born? who will I be after this game is done?
my now is forever eternity lives in moments hello to me across the ages I feel chronivorous¹ eating as many moments swallowing life growing-changing-being-loving all in a single breath
the rush of the motorcycle or the pen I ride the cosmos I am my myth of existence -
“Be yourself; everyone else is taken.” ~Oscar Wilde
Dana Sanford 2022
¹a made-up word referring to eating up time.
