My Week In Words And Pictures

My Photo essay for August 23–31, 2021

“One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching” ― Gerard Way

A few days ago I saw this flower and I was compelled to take a picture.

It is so vibrant and so lovely.

The combination of colors is breathtaking.

I tried to capture its essence.

Walked my heart off to the school bus.

My little man who keeps me on my toes.

I pray he enjoys his day at school today and is safe.

I don’t usually take pictures of people as much as nature.

Saw this interesting combination and could not resist.

Somehow this purple guy snuck into among the reds and greens.

It was the only purple flower there so it stood out like a sore thumb.

Of course I saw its curiosity and mine came out to play with it.

Went to visit my bitter melon and saw this lizard.

I think it was in motion and got paralyzed in fear when I appeared.

I was taking its picture and it did not move one inch.

I finally left it alone.

I think he likes hanging about my bitter melon plant.

I caught this guy in the process of opening.

Look at how beautiful that is.

Look at the whorl-like pattern.

The contrasting colors intrigued me.

One bright, one pale.

The shedding tree.

On Sunday, I walked out of the ER for a breather and this sky was so clear and bright.

Look at those wispy clouds, I felt hopeful.

The world keeps on moving, no matter what we go through.

Now you know I go around seeking the unusual and the interesting according to me.

That was my week in pictures.

Hope you enjoyed it.

Thank you all for reading and for your support.
