My Week In Photos
May 31- June 6, 2021
I recently discovered Snapshots and was equally thrilled to see a photo-a-day challenge. A spur-of-the-moment New Year’s decision was to take a photo a day for the entire year and post to Instagram.
I have only missed one day — but made up for it the next.
This week was fickle weather-wise so I had to resort to some indoor shots. My daughter bought me this beautiful cactus for Mother’s Day. I haven’t managed to kill it — yet!

My baby turned 21 on Friday but we had a small celebration on Thursday, complete with his favourite Dairy Queen ice cream cake.

I love walking in my neighbourhood this time of the year because of all the beautiful flowers that are blooming. I only have a balcony so my gardening is limited to pots — and they look pathetic right now! I am also fortunate to have a beautiful park a mere 6-minute walk from my house. It is a photographer's dreamland with the flora and fauna.

Yesterday, I took my walk in a different neighbourhood after a brief visit to a friend in the hospital. It was wickedly hot and humid, but the sky was a stunning backdrop to the colourful hospital windows.

Of course, I can’t seem to escape a week without capturing another stunning sunset from my apartment.

Stay tuned for more pictures next week. I am on vacation so I will have more time to venture into different places to capture my daily shots.
All photos are taken with an Apple iPhone 11
