Greetings from Madagascar
My Town Mahajanga
It has typical beauty

Mahajanga is a very quiet and sunny town. We have sun almost all the year.
But it is very funny in our town to hear every morning not only the music of the birds but of sellers who come to each house to sell vegetables and fruits.
The funny thing, if I can say like this, is the vendor of coal ….You are taking your coffee quietly and “….bon, charbon” sound shouting makes me jump with fear and surprise.
It is a rustic cart made of wood and full of big bags of coal, alàs, here, there is no prohibition to sell coal and even when I see them, I feel pain for trees and sometimes precious trees are cut. It hurts my feelings.
After nine am, you hear the cart of the one who takes the garbage in his cart. He is not calling, yet he is whistling so strongly … It is typical of Mahajanga.
Mahajanga has also another beauty. The vegetable and fruit vendors visit house to house to sell their products.
You don’t have to go shopping here. They bring delicious and organic vegetables to your home. They call people loudly and we just go outside to buy stuff from them.

Those habits define my town.
Before it was not like this. A truck was coming for garbage but for three or four years, many carts are circulating in the roads for it. Even before we have to go to the market for vegetables and fruits now, it is so different and restful.
