My Top 5 Favorite Writing Tools

We all have favorite tools, here are a few of mine

I have this Letherman utility knife that I use around my house all the time. My daughters have come to name it my ‘man tool,’ as it always comes out for whatever project I’m working on.

As writers, we have favorite tools too. They are the things we use all the time. And they help us with our content, to grow, and to succeed as writers. In today’s post, I want to share with you a few of my favorite tools

№1 — My iPad

Recently, I had to get an iPad to help replace my 10-year-old MacBook. Since picking up this iPad, I have been able to run my writing business better, and have been able to write so much more. It’s my ultimate writing productivity tool.

№2 — Notion

This is an application that is really growing on me. Had it not been for Burk, I probably wouldn’t have given it a chance. Yet, it is my favorite app for writing my posts in and planning for my writing business.

№3 — Grammarly

This last year, I finally decided it was time to get better at personal editing for my articles. I’m not the best editor and I don’t like the work of it. But it’s important. Jud Ashburg encouraged me to be willing to pay for the pro version, and I do not regret it now. I use it all the time.

№4 — Quillbot

This tool is a paraphrasing tool you can find online. I found it when a YouTuber was telling people to use it to copy other people’s articles by running them through this app and then publishing them (super dirty). However, I have found it helpful for recycling my own content on other platforms.

№5 — Canva Pro

I use this for Gumroad products, social media posts, and so much more. I love it. The pro version is super useful and totally worth purchasing. I’m always looking for ways to add it into my creative process too.

Final Thoughts

Now, these are just a few of my favorite things. There are other tools I use, but these are ones I use every day and can be super helpful for any writer out there.
