My Secret Source to Finding High Paying Freelance Writing Jobs
And no, it’s not ProBlogger!

Don’t get me wrong — ProBlogger is a great resource for writers to find jobs. It’s been around for many years and it has a good reputation. But if you’re not interested in writing for SEO companies who pay very little, the good jobs are far and few between.
Also, I feel like so many people use ProBlogger that the companies who post jobs on there must be flooded with responses. The competition to get those jobs has got to be fairly high.
I have an even better source!
It’s called Write Jobs, and it’s a site full of jobs for writers of all kinds, including fiction writers and poets. I’ve been using Write Jobs for many years and have found a lot of jobs through them.
Here’s a sample of today’s listings:

Jobs on the main portion of their site are curated from around the web. Listings include details, how to apply, and a link to the original source.
But there’s more!
Write Jobs also has a Patreon account where you can get access to high paying jobs that aren’t listed on the main site! These jobs are for freelance writers. Sometimes they are marketing companies that pay higher than the average job posting. But there’s also listing for places you can pitch article ideas to and companies and websites that are paying a premium fee for regular writers.
Here’s a sampling of jobs listed on their Patreon account:

You’ll notice that you have to pay to have access to these premium job listings, but it is worth it!
The jobs on the Write Jobs Patreon are often very specific, so it’s a great resource for niche writers. Personally, I focus on writing about sex, dating, relationships, self-development, and mental health now. That means working for SEO companies is not a good fit for me anymore.
Through the Write Jobs Patreon, I’ve been able to find work that allows me to write in my niche and pays well.
If you’re not already using Write Jobs as a source for finding writing work, I encourage you to check them out and support their Patreon.
