I aspire to be Tim Denning. It’s the only thing I know after a week on Medium. When I logged onto the site, I discovered his writing and became hooked. His stories combine the right mix of voice and actionable information — leaving the reader to put pen on paper. So I did.

I averaged an article per day before coming across one of Tim’s articles highlighting his eBook: How To Earn 6-Figures on Medium.com.

Panic set in.

Did I miss the boat? Were all other writers on Medium already using this? What if I buy the eBook only to realize I don’t stand a chance on this site?

I swallowed my fears and made the purchase.

Don’t dismiss don’t

As with all things in life, what you don’t do can be just as important as what you do. There are plenty of warnings in the book that can save writers.

I found myself casually looking over my shoulder several times as I came across Tim’s heeding advice knowing all too well that I have already made some of these mistakes. Save yourself the headache.

You can finish it in a day

There’s nothing more discouraging than coming across a book that you bought long ago, only to see pages behind bookmark vastly outnumber those in front of it. You won’t have that problem here and will most likely finish it in under a couple of hours.

I Swindled Tim Denning

I can’t believe this book was only $20. He easily could have charged twice that amount. There is no doubt. If you follow the advice in the book and take it seriously, you will make your money back and a whole lot more.

There will always be detractors to state what is below. To which, I would like to provide my rebuttal.

“None of this information is new” — That’s great. I didn’t ask for it to be new. I asked for it to be helpful.
“All of this information can be found on Medium and other sites” — Thanks. Now please gather that information. Format it. Put it in chronological order for me. Now, convince me that you did not just spend more than $20 worth your time.
“Is the information in this book even relevant?” — Yes, my man. Yes it is.

Finally, I wish I could leave you with a grandiose quote. I can’t. My writing isn’t up to that level yet. I’ll keep working and leave you with my simple advice.

“Buy the damn book.”
