My Reflections of 2022
I’m not sure if I’ll be able to remember all the good experiences and people that made me smile, but I’m glad I have the opportunity to reflect on them now.

I learned so much about myself in 2022 — how my values have changed over time, where my passions lie, and what it is that truly makes me happy.
I’ve been able to explore new skills and start a new job that has brought more meaning into my life.
Having left my previous workplace where creativity is often stifled by bureaucracy, I now have the chance to learn new things and put my creativity to use.
Though it’s a small step, it’s important to me because it means that I’m moving forward in life.
In 2022, I experienced these meaningful moments — the ones that brought a smile to my face.
Love the self-checkout at Uniqlo — a fashion retail brand from Japan
The store has made a presence in Asia, in some parts of Europe, and the USA. In Singapore, the stores have improved the in-store shopping experience.
All I did was drop my merchandise into a ‘bucket’ or so-called terminal. The machine reads the price tag scanner and voila the items with the prices are displayed on the monitor.
This is such a breather because I don’t have to wait in line for the manual checkout. I just drop the items, scan them automatically, pay, and go.
The omnichannel experience becomes the new normal
With a surge in online interactions and shopping with brands, I was a happy victim purchasing a 65" Prism Smart TV on social media. Lol!
The entire customer journey was consistent across social, the web, live chat, email, and SMS. Each touchpoint moved me through the buying journey, providing a wonderful and positive customer experience.
I get to watch the 2022 FIFA World Cup on the big screen.
The omnichannel approach will be
a game changer
for any industry to ensure
a reduction of complexity in
operations and creates
a smoother and faster experience
for both employee

I would say it’s an amazing experience. It’s a platform where I get to share my stories and connect with people from all over the world.
Many writers are passionate about their contribution, storytelling, and creating content. I learned a lot from all the talented writers on Medium.
Leaving behind positive and inspirational comments on each other’s stories was a great way to encourage others.
If you come on board this platform, don’t be afraid to share your experience and write for knowledge.
The more you write, the better you’ll get at it.
Guide to SEO Writing
My current role in CINNOX required me to write SEO-friendly content.
This means that it’s written in a way that makes it easier for Google and other search engines to understand what your article is about. In turn, this improves its ranking on SERPs (search engine result pages).
Having no experience in this, I turned to resources on the internet that would teach me the ropes. There were too many.
I chanced upon Victoria Kurichenko who is a Medium top writer.
She provided a great resource for beginners like me to learn about SEO writing. It was very easy to digest her resources and provided me with an understanding of to write optimized content without needing any technical knowledge.
I am forever grateful for her tips and techniques amid the crowded space of guides.
Improve Workplace Collaboration
Everybody knows Slack, Google Chat, Teams, Intercom, LiveChat, and many other communication and customer engagement platforms.
Though these are great sets of tools, people and businesses need a convergence of everything.
They need to see every interaction and external engagement taking place in one single dashboard, without a need to toggle to other software or apps.
CINNOX filled this void with a single-pane-of-glass dashboard for all business needs.
