My Phone Is On Do Not Disturb 90% of the time
If they have access to your ear, they have access to your mind

My peace of mind reigns supreme.
Constant notifications leave little room for solitude and reflection.
And I don’t want anyone coming to me with crap to be completely honest.
So I’ve leaned into the power of disconnecting to prioritize my mental well-being.
With the simple switch to Do Not Disturb mode, I’ve personally been able to silence the chaos and double down on what truly matters to me…
Being present.
Selective Accessibility
Setting boundaries became essential.
Only those on my favorites list — a select few trusted contacts — can reach me directly.
It’s about reclaiming control over my time and interactions.
There is nothing wrong with setting personal boundaries for your own wellbeing
Self-Preservation
As time goes on, I’ve become more protective of my energy and space.
I’m a creative so I’m no stranger to burnout. Prioritizing my self-care is crucial to my livelihood.
For me using Do Not Disturb is a form of self-preservation, sending a clear message: my peace of mind comes first.
Are They Adding Value or Draining Me?
I dare you to scroll through your recent call list…
I did and it made me pause.
I asked myself are these calls lifting me up or draining me?
It’s a question that forced me to evaluate the quality of my connections.
