My One True Love

It’s as though I met you before,

In another life, in another world,

It’s as if I’ve loved you before,

In another place, in another time,

You taught my heart to love,

My body knows yours by heart,

In a world of only you and I,

My kiss, my love belongs to you,

I woke to your face a million times,

We make love right through time,

I died but my soul couldn’t rest,

I toiled the earth just to find you,

I walked many arduous paths,

Sailed many oceans rough and calm,

Just to hold you in my arms once more,

Our connection, so cosmic,

It’s as if I’ve lived it over and over,

As if I’ve felt this happiness before,

It’s as if you are the only one for me,

In this life, the next, for eternity.
