My Night Routine — You can copy it if you want too

Our evening routine has to be a time of total relaxation

My evening routine is like a moment of peace, today I’m going to show you my weekly routine when I get home after work. Personally, I love reading posts on this topic.

I also know that there are many people like that who like to read the routines of others.

My routine starts at 5:00 when I leave work. I usually get in the car and come straight home. It takes me another ten minutes, depending on traffic. As I live on the tenth floor of the building (last), I take the opportunity to exercise and climb the stairs home. It is very rare to use the elevator, both to climb and to descend.

I open the door of the house and lengths my dogs that at this time are jumping and rolling on the floor. For those who are curious to know, I have two Yorkshire minis. I put on the keys, the suitcase, and the phone and I put on a more comfortable outfit. Usually, after I get home I will always run on the treadmill I have at home. I’m not a person who likes to go to the gym, so I like to exercise at home, especially in winter when it’s very cold.

I finish the practice session around 6:30 p.m. and drink a glass of cold water. Then I’ll pack my clothes for the next day and get ready to take a really hot bath and clean my skin of all my makeup. At 8:00 pm I dine together with my family (a habit we value immensely) and when I finish, I always drink a very hot cup of tea, usually of Lipton red fruits. In the meantime, I will respond to your comments here on Medium.

When I finish, I sit on the couch reading a chapter of the book I am currently reading “Sign of Life” by the famous journalist José Rodrigues dos Santos. Before going to sleep, brush my teeth and I always like to assimilate new knowledge of the Danish language, which I am trying to learn from the Duolingo application. At 11:00 p.m., I’ll charge my iPhone and turn on all the alarm clocks for the next day.
