My Mom Forgot to Wish Me Happy Daughter’s Day
A poem on mother daughter’s love
I was going to ask you first thing in the morning, what was so special about today's day mom? You replied its Sunday and ignored my warning.
I still waited for the day to pass, I thought this was one of your gimmicks to see how long my patience lasts.
I proved myself once again mom, I kept my patience all day long, and didn't let you know that there was something wrong.
But I broke down a few minutes ago, when I saw pictures of moms wishing their daughters it hit me hard, hard like a huge blow.
I thought to myself, am I so bad? that I don't deserve that special attention from you. or did you just think Daughters day was yet another fad?
That's my only question for you today. Now don't even think of giving any excuse, because it's too late for you to get away.
So what if you’re watching me high up from the sky, you could still ask God for a moment and scroll the local markets, a little something to buy.
Fine, this time I have decided to let you go, I can't stay mad for long you very well know. but next year I won’t at any cost forego.
You wishing me — ‘’A very Happy Daughters Day’’
