My March MPP pays for my monthly Medium Membership!

Feb 25 — Mar 25 earnings !

Nobody could be more surprised than me that under Medium’s Membership Program, for the March period I was reimbursed an amount that will cover my next monthly membership fee!

I pay more in Australian Dollars (AUD) but it’s worth it, because I joined to write and to read locked stories on Medium.

As an avid reader, every day I find new Topics and Collections and Publications that I love to browse through and find great Stories that I like to read.

My favorite Publications are the Ascent and Live your Life on Purpose.

I work part-time and have spent a lot of hours trying to publish at least 3 Stories per week on Medium, via Publications mainly.

I am in the Medium Partnership Program (MPP) because being so is a bonus for me. It would be super great if I got more readership through one of my Stories being “tipped” or curated.

It would be fantastic if one day my “earnings” helped pay my mortgage, but I did NOT sign up with Medium to earn money!

With the time that I have, I try every day or every other day, to scan my “New from your Network” to find Stories from people and publications that I follow, in order not just to read, but to interact: i.e. to clap or applaud Stories that I like.

I feel that it is really important to give Claps for any Story that you like, to show appreciation and acknowledgement.

I like to support new Medium members also, and you can find new people by seeing the start date of members’ membership with Medium, or by going to their Profile pages.

I first began blogging with WordPress in 2012 with my fav blog “Fascinating Animals”, and now run 8 active WordPress blogs, because I am “data girl” i.e. I love information (and did I say that I love writing & sharing?).

I am expert at using WordPress (the free version, not self-hosted blogs with plug-ins) and have written comprehensive guidelines on running a WP blog.

I wrote good instructions on how to use the MeWe platform also, and made all this information free.

For someone whom has received next to zero feedback for all of her blogging, and little compensation (monetary or otherwise) for sharing instructions and notes; Medium has come as a bonus for me!

Share the Love around. Accept what you get however little (or big) that it is.

We are blessed to have what we have, and a humble heart is one that receives.
