My March 2023 Earnings and Stats Report

If I can do it, You can do it too!

I wrote my first article in March 2019 and I regret I didn’t continue writing here. Fast forward to 2022, I was looking for something online and stumbled upon ‘My X Month Earnings Report from Medium’ kinda post and went through it.

Of course, It blew me away! Especially because, I used to run 3 blogs and only one of them was able to generate significant income (Pfft. I don’t have them anymore).

So, I wanted to give Medium a second chance and started writing again. Took a leap of coffee (Yeah yeah, I know it’s faith) on 13th December 2022 and published my second writing. I used to keep checking my stats (Let’s be honest, who doesn’t?) In November, my overall views were 2. Here’s a screenshot of my November and December stats —

So, going from 2 to 847 was a huge deal for me and I was super excited about what’s in store for writers on Medium.

I was inconsistent in January and February but I used to write at least 2 articles in a week but then came the month of March. At this point, I’m enrolled into Medium Partner Program and seen tons of ‘Earnings Reports’. So, I decided I will write one article a day all 31 days.

Not gonna lie, I missed 2 days but hey! I compensated them by writing 2 articles on different days. So, with all that said, I can safely say I wrote 31 articles in 31 days in March and here’s how many views I was able to accumulate —

Pretty (supercalifragilisticexpialidociously) insane, isn’t it? You know what’s more insane? Look at the earnings I was able to bag —

From 2 to 847 views in my initial month to 728,093 views in the last month, I’m lost for words. And even this earnings chart is bonkers! The way it grew —

December to January — 138x January to February — 18x February to March — 19x

Okay okay, it’s not much in terms of growth, but numbers do the talking!
