A star arrived, bringing the light.
Born to strangers, my course unknown. Open arms, papers signed, ink dried.
Tucked in love, my forever home.
Chapters 5–8
Secrets shared with a select few.
Opened eyes, I don’t match another.
Tomboy ways to gangly young girl.
Not my father, nor my mother.
Chapters 6–9
Lost in books, mysteries, and words.
My artwork displayed on the shelf.
Jack of all trades, mastering none.
Curious angst, the search for myself.
Chapters 10–13
Party girl floats, the future arrived.
Married, three kids, craving my muse.
Rug ripped out, fall, spiral, alone.
Maybe I win…maybe I lose?
Chapters 14–17
Stuck with strangers, swallowed by crowds.
Open arms, I greet my grandson.
Happy love with a heavy heart.
Fending off stormy clouds, we won.
Chapters 18–21
Bluest eyes, little hand to hold.
An unstoppable team of just two.
A new look, a repurposed life.
Honestly, what’s a girl to do?
Chapters 22–25
My journey unclear, I crave signs.
I listen closely, who is ‘me?’
Self-doubt buried deep in my heart.
Emotional shackles, yet I am free.
