My “help hubs with the Fort project” day ~

Ok so today I was out holding the wood in place while hubs put the screws in. He is putting new stair steps and handles on a 25-year-old (approximate) fort that he built for our son ages ago.
This is Not an easy job. As I hold the wood to stabilize it, I find that my mind is wandering into a place of my past that I am so sorry for and yet there it is in 👇🏼
In Broad daylight again
in my head. 👆🏼
So, I told Jesus (in a silent prayer):
“I am so sorry Lord”.
I then hear Him say to me.
“Just Give it all to me”.
And He didn’t say the word I would use…the ~AGAIN~ word.
As It’s Not like I haven’t Asked His forgiveness on this memory before. But He didn’t throw it up to me like I would have along with some of my famous and timely eye rolling. 🙄
Jesus is loving … not like judgmental friends can be (or myself can sometimes be.)
So, I do what He has suggested and deep inside my heart I give it again up to Him in a silent prayer. (All While hubs has no idea what is going on inside my head and he is silently focused and working away.)
And I then hear the Lord say to me:
“Now it’s gone.”
True story.
For any of you that may be wondering if I’m crazy, I do hear the still small voice or impression God Gives me as He speaks to my heart and mind.
It’s not a new thing but I’ve noticed that This has become more prevalent this year for some reason.
The point of this story is to say that you can always feel free to speak to Him about anything. He already knows what’s up.
He loves us no matter what.
Oh, and today hubs (with my help) finished the new steps and handles on a 25-year-old (approximate) fort that he built for our son long ago.
I kidded when I called it my new office. In this story below:
But now it’ll be much safer for me to climb up the stairs and into the fort in order to read (something Gerald Washington suggested).
There is no internet up there, but the view is good.
And no one will know where I am for a while.
Unless I want them to know 😎😉

The Fort project is Finished for now until we stain or coat the steps and handles 👇🏼 for weatherproofing.

Old fort revamp 2022
Thank you to hubs for your engineering ways.
And thanks to Jesus for His love and kindness always.
And thanks for reading todays update —
