Beloved, when we met I had no thought of ends And, as we set upon our walk through life together, We promised we would travel side by side forever As spouses, partners, confidantes, and dearest friends.

No matter how our journey twists and turns and wends, Regardless of the culture, nonetheless the weather, Forever I will be your teammate and lover, Collaborate with you on all your schemes and plans.

Sometimes I wish that time would stop and let us be, But days continue on into eternity.

Each kiss could be our last, and someday we will part, The culmination of our tale will end in grief And yet, with you, I have found joy however brief. Beloved, I will always hold you in my heart.
