My Greatest Accomplishment
Day 10 of Keeley’s Writing Challenge
This is a hard one. Was it having 6 kids and not killing any of them?
Was it surviving 4 men and not killing any of them?
Or more to the point, being killed by them?
Or was it staying single for 5 whole years? That’s a pretty big accomplishment for me. Just ask Keeley.
Was it surviving Keeley’s teenage years? She was a shocker!
Was it going on my own to Russia with not one skerrick of the language? I couldn’t even tell you what the Cyrillic letters were meant to be. That wasn’t really an accomplishment. That was just plain stupidity — but I did it and survived.
Or was it my most recent accomplishment? Having both my knees replaced at the same time? Everyone tells me how brave I was, but I didn’t have any choice.
I want to travel this year. And since I haven’t found a suitable man (or woman) to travel with me, I’ll be heading off on my own again.
I’ll be interested to read about your greatest accomplishments.
Could you decide on just one?
