My gardening catalogs have arrived, and I’m digging for something new to grow.

Even if you only grow a few vegetables or herbs, these free catalogs are a fun way to get information and excitement. Here’s a brief story I wrote about some favorites and how to get them.

Besides seeds for sale, many contain tons of information. Some will have growing charts and STUFF. All free.

I love helping people be successful in growing their own food. I’ve been teaching it for — now I have to count — 52 years.

My tea today is stinging nettle with oat straw. I gathered this stinging nettle from a friend's farm. I purchased the oat straw.
