100-word Memoir

My Friend Peed in My Pants

Me in the same outfit that was peed in. Author’s photo edited on Canva.

When I was 6, my friend Jane and I thought it would be funny to swap clothes.

Within minutes, I was her and she was me. Boredom was crushed by ingenuity!

Pleased by the idea’s success, I started dancing wildly. Unfortunately, this was a grave mistake.

Jane laughed — too hard. She doubled over, wheezing and red-faced.

I watched in horror as she peed in my pants.

Telling our moms was out of the question.

I had no choice. I put my pee-soaked clothes back on, walked home, and threw the wet pile into my hamper.

My mom never found out.

This was a response to the Memoirist’s 100–word prompt.

Here’s a story fellow weirdos may enjoy from Christopher Robin:

“embrace your weird, try on a G-string, don’t be afraid to let go and write your own wild story.”
