My fitness is still on track!🏃‍♀️Update!

Doing the famous celery juice cleanse!🥬I love it!🥬I feel it!🥬Great!

Photo by the author — My celery juice is FANTASTICALLY HEALTHY!

I stumbled across this celery cleanse and it looked cool! — This shit is for real! 🧻(Pun intended.)

I don’t have a juicer, but I have a blender, so I bought a bunch of celery and was ready to rock and roll! — I was gonna clean my insides!

🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬

🚽 WARNING! Don’t do this and go out for a while!

Don’t drink your first 16-ounce glass, then jump in the car and go to church to the mall. — The cleanse started for me pretty fast! — I feel great!

This chick shows how she did it!

So I copied her. 🥬 Pretty groovy! — She calls it insane. — I call it healthy!

This cleanse ain’t no joke! — It’s pretty quick!

I feel awesome! — I included 2 videos because it’s great for both men and women. — so the first time, stay at home for a bit!

I suck at drinking water first of all!

This totally got me into the habit. I did it for 2 weeks every day. Now I do it in the morning a few days a week. — The taste really grew on me!

Here are some celery juice cleanse benefits:

Celery juice cleanse advocates claim several potential benefits, although scientific evidence supporting these claims is limited

  1. Reduced Inflammation: Some proponents suggest that celery juice may help reduce inflammation in the body, which is linked to various health issues.
  2. Lower Blood Pressure: Celery is believed to contain compounds that may contribute to lower blood pressure, potentially promoting cardiovascular health.
  3. Liver Healing: Advocates claim that celery juice may have liver-healing properties, supporting detoxification processes in the body.
  4. Cancer-Fighting Properties: Some suggest that celery juice could have cancer-fighting properties, although more research is needed to substantiate these claims.
  5. Reduced Bloating: Celery is thought to have diuretic properties that may help reduce bloating and support digestive health.
  6. Improved Hydration: Celery juice is a hydrating beverage that may contribute to overall hydration levels in the body.

From Google: It’s essential to note that while some individuals report positive experiences with celery juice cleanses, these claims often lack robust scientific backing. Additionally, individual responses to such cleanses can vary. Before making significant changes to your diet, it’s advisable to consult with a healthcare professional. — As for me, This may be a forever thing!

Dudes do this too! — It’s fun for everybody!

So I decided to give you 2 points of view for shits and giggles! (PUN AGAIN.)

I’m inspired to get healthy and stay healthy!

I’m still doing the treadmill for 1–2 hours a day! — It is a must.

🏆In September I went on a mission to make $1,000 on Medium. — I came in at $956.68.

💡I learned so much that month! — Sitting nonstop is not good for us!

Now, I walk and listen to articles & stories.

I save poems for when my walking is done because they tend to be shorter. If I run across a longer piece, I jump on the treadmill.

The beauty of the treadmill is that it’s inside.

No matter what the weather, you’re good to go.

I live in Florida so we have rain & heat!

When I ditch my walker, I will go outside to get fit, but for now, it works! — I am hoping to ditch this walker soon! —First mile…1 min video below!

🏃‍♂️This runner dude is 75 and also lives in Florida!

Yes, I said 75, as in years old, or maybe young!

His name is Sam Johnston.

Sam Johnston has his theory on running. — “I always tell everyone that it cures everything,” says the 75-year-old Naples, Florida resident who has run every single day for the past 40 years.

Sounds super fun to me! — I want to do this!

Sprained ankles, pneumonia, and the flu are just a few of the ailments Sam Johnston has conquered over the years without breaking stride.

The below photo is from Runners World magazine.

I used to get that magazine cuz I have always been a runner! I maybe should get it again just to keep my goals in front of my face.

Photo from .runnersworld.com

The weather doesn’t seem to stop Johnston either.

I love this dude's spirit for life! — I love the whole thing!

Remember when mail carriers come in any weather! — I think they still do.

He’s run through snow, sleet, rain, and even Hurricane Irma, which tore through Naples on September 10 as a Category 2 storm.

Okay, this cat is badass! — I want to be badass too!

Johnston snuck in a run near his home shortly after midnight on September 10 as the storm barreled closer, and then ran again in a parking lot on September 11 once the storm had passed.

Okay, you know you want to be badass too, right?

He logs about 3 miles in the humid summer months (any more than that, and his shoes get “slushy” with sweat) and up to 6 miles during the mild winter.

I count steps when I run like Sam! — I smell destiny!

He says he doesn’t think about much when he runs. “I just sort of look where I going,” he says. “And I count my steps.”

He has a fitness buddy…HOW COOL! — I wanna be like her. — She’s 1 year older than me.

They both look AMAZING! — Holy moly, RIGHT? — It’s time to bust it out!

After his run, he picks Chuckie up and the duo walk two to three miles together. “I always joke that he comes back to ‘walk me,’” laughs 65-year-old Chuckie.

I am even gonna try yoga! — This was my inspiration!

Yep, she was 96 years old, and kicking butt! — Amazing!

Tao Porchon-Lynch (born August 13, 1918)

She has the world record for the world's oldest yoga teacher!

Yoga’s origins can be traced to northern India over 5,000 years ago. The word yoga was first mentioned in ancient sacred texts called the Rig Veda. The Vedas are a set of four ancient sacred texts written in Sanskrit.

Dr. Preeti Singh & Michele Maize both do yoga. — Ladies, I’m finally gonna try it!………REALLY!

🙏 Michele wrote My Lovely Yoga Obsession

🖐👩‍🦰 I have been doing the treadmill in my socks.🧦 My feet are so sore. — Should I wear sneakers?

Yes, you should wear sneakers when using a treadmill. Sneakers provide support and cushioning for your feet, which can help to prevent injuries.

Here are some of the reasons why you should wear sneakers on a treadmill:

  • Support: Sneakers provide support for your arches and ankles, which can help to prevent injuries such as plantar fasciitis and ankle sprains.
  • Cushioning: Sneakers cushion your feet from the impact of running or walking on the treadmill, which can help to prevent pain and fatigue.
  • Grip: Sneakers have good grip, which can help to prevent you from slipping and falling.
  • Absorption: Sneakers absorb shock, which can help to protect your joints from injury.
  • Breathability: Sneakers are made of breathable materials, which can help to keep your feet cool and dry.

🛑 If you are experiencing foot pain while using a treadmill, it is important to see a doctor or podiatrist to rule out any underlying conditions. 👟👟👟 However, wearing sneakers can help to relieve pain and prevent further injury.
