My first 3 weeks in Medium had 135+ followers with 7Articles
Ground level analysis

Are you new to this platform or thinking about writing as a side hustle? Here are a few stats and analytics that might be useful for you.
This is written based on my first 3 weeks of analytics data. No exaggerations.. this is just what happened.
What kind of a writer I am…
Not a consistent writer.
2–3 articles per week…
Articles were written about technology and Life…
There is no fixed niche for my content.
135+ followers.
Even though I wasn’t consistently writing articles every day, I reached a 135-follower milestone in just 3 weeks. A very big thanks to all those who follow me❤️. It’s a great system where active writers support each other, contributing to reaching that mark.

So I can confirm, that you will even get an audience if you are not 100% consistent and that you can get a better result when you write frequently — I’ll demonstrate it through my statistics.
I think the following facts influenced the audience count.
I read content that interests me from those I follow as well as other writers.
I engage with fellow writers through responses (via claps, comments and by following them), averaging 8–10 interactions per week.
I even started an early-stage publication — https://medium.com/life-and-technology.
I share articles on Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, and as my WhatsApp status.
I pinned the articles that achieved a better read ratio within the first week after publishing to my profile.
Your audience will exponentially increase. For me, it took around 20 days to reach the 100-mark; then, in just one day, it increased to 135 and beyond.
Read ratio…
My articles have a view-to-read ratio of around 40–45%, which is just below average. I earned $2 in my first three weeks (I assume that in my first month, I can earn to cover my membership fee).
When I published frequently (an article a day), you can observe the audience also increased (see the trend towards the end).

Other insights from the read ratio
What kind of articles do most people view? Writing Real-life experiences.
Did publishing in other publications benefit me? Yes, When it gets published under a medium publication with more followers, it gets more traction.
Here are the publications I’m part of. ILLUMINATION, ILLUMINATION-Curators, Startup Stash, Readers Hope, SYNERGY, Illuminations mirror

Conclusion.
I think if the writing is genuine and comes from the heart, it will start connecting people, and they can relate to their own lives. So I try to write with my style without AI and use Grammarly and Hemingway Editor for corrections.
Here are a few articles where I wrote about my experiences from my personal life.
If you liked my article, a clap would be greatly appreciated. Your support keeps my writing going. Thanks for being part of this journey! Good Luck!
