My February Grocery Haul

Created On Canva By Me.

As mentioned before, February just started.

I ended up running out of certain foods at the end of January (e.g. Yogurt and Frozen Fruit).

I am also focusing on trying to eat healthier than I did last year.

As we all know, it’s not easy to do financially.

It’s time to do a grocery haul to replenish my pantry.

What I Bought and How Much I Spent

I gave myself a budget of $120 for Groceries in February.

Here is what I bought from Walmart:

  • Whole Grain Bread
  • Nonfat Greek Yogurt
  • Bag of Oranges
  • Bag of Clementines
  • 6 Cans of Tuna
  • Blue Bonnet Sticks
  • Frozen Shrimp
  • Vegan Ground Beef Crumbles
  • Soy Sauce
  • Frozen Pepper and Onion Strips
  • Brown Rice
  • String Cheese
  • Cheese Slices
  • Corn Tortillas
  • Canned Pineapple Chunks
  • Sweet and Sour Sauce
  • Teriyaki Sauce

I spent $65 on this order.

Here’s a picture of what I bought:

Walmart didn’t have the frozen fruit I originally wanted to purchase.

I made another order to get the Strawberry and Banana Blend.

It cost me $21.

Here is a picture of that:

I spent the remaining $34 to go towards Stur and True Orange from Amazon (it will help me drink more water).

Here’s a picture of that:

I spent the whole $120.

Meals I Plan On Making This Month

  • Beef Roast Tacos (from a beef roast I had in the refrigerator)
  • Turkey and Dressing (from leftover Turkey I had from Thanksgiving I froze)
  • Chicken Teriyaki with Brown Rice
  • Fish and Rice
  • Taco Pasta
  • Sweet and Sour Chicken
  • Tuna and Bean Nachos
  • Shrimp Scampi

Overall

I’m very happy that I found some healthy choices for $120.

I’m disappointed that there isn’t enough stock in stores for some of the healthy items.

I guess more people are choosing to eat healthier this year (a good thing).

I also noticed that Cod at Walmart is almost $20 (that’s insane for fish).

I will be doing a stockpile for the next three months to have enough frozen fruit and fish (at hopefully lower prices than Walmart).
