My Current Insights on Difficult Journeys
I will seek wisdom, patience, and safety on the road that God has created for me.

Life feels like a road with constant traffic and construction. It’s frustrating sometimes. Just like traffic and construction slow cars down and hold them back, time seems to move slow when you’re waiting for results from hard work.
Sometimes, the cars in front of you block your view of caution signs. Or sometimes, you don’t see caution signs because you do not pay close attention to the road.
Sometimes, you choose to ignore caution signs because you feel like time is more important than your safety. Deep down, you know this isn’t true. Caution signs exist to keep you safe, but impatience and frustration put this knowledge on the backburner.
In addition to caution signs, there are dead ends. On roads and in life, you have to change direction. Yes, you might have a GPS to help guide you. But you can still get lost. In cases when dead ends seem to be constant, you feel like you’re getting nowhere. There has to be a way to arrive at your destination, but it seems nonexistent.
Sometimes, trying to find your way through unfamiliar territory leads to work tardiness or missed appointments. As a result, you suffer negative consequences for arriving late or missing critical functions. Some people wonder if this is a bad omen from the universe or the devil. Other people blame God.
I believe that no matter how hard the road becomes, God will show me the right way through obstacles. Unlike Siri, God is a perfect GPS. In life, I don’t always see how this is possible during a long period of setbacks. I’m waiting in traffic right now. I’m lost and confused.
But during the confusion, during the times when I feel stuck, I will use this time to pray and confide in my support system. When life feels hopeless, I will pray for faith and patience. I will pray for wisdom so I can follow the road God set out for me in His timing. I will seek prayer from fellow believers.
Are you seeking prayer for safety and guidance during your travels? If so, I will pray for you. Do you have an encouraging story about your journey that you would like to share? If so, share your journey in the comments.
