My Boundaries For The Next 30 Days
“Boundaries are a part of self-care. They are healthy, normal, and necessary.” — Doreen Virtue

As someone who’s constantly juggling multiple responsibilities — work, social commitments, and personal goals — I’ve come to realize the importance of establishing clear guidelines for my own well-being.
Over the next 30 days, I’m embarking on a journey to prioritize self-care, productivity, and personal growth by implementing specific boundaries in my daily routine.
No Phone for the First 2 Hours of My Day
Waking up to the buzz of notifications actually gives me anxiety.
I don’t want it. I don’t need it.
For the next month, I’m reclaiming the peace of my mornings by banning my phone for the first two hours after waking up.
Instead of diving headfirst into the digital whirlwind, I’ll savor quiet moments of reflection, a morning cuddle with my girlfriend, indulge in a leisurely breakfast, and perhaps even squeeze in a morning workout.
By disconnecting from the virtual world, I hope to reconnect with myself on a deeper level.
No Staying in Bed Longer Than 20 Minutes After Waking Up
For the next 30 days, I’m imposing a strict time limit of 20 minutes upon waking up.
No more lingering under the covers, lost in a haze of half-consciousness.
Instead, I’ll seize the day with purpose, embracing each morning as a fresh opportunity to pursue my passions and fulfill my potential.

No Working Past 6pm
I’m drawing a line in the sand: no working past 6pm. By setting this boundary, I aim to reclaim my evenings for relaxation, recreation, and meaningful connections with loved ones.
It’s not about sacrificing productivity; it’s about recognizing the importance of rest and rejuvenation in maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
New Experience At Least Once Per Week
Routine can be comforting, but it can also be stifling.
I’m committing to trying at least one new experience every week.
Whether it’s signing up for a cooking class, exploring a new hiking trail, or immersing myself in a cultural event, I’m eager to CHOP LIFE and expand my horizons beyond the familiar confines of my comfort zone.

Only 2 Social Commitments Per Week
As much as I value social connections, I’ve come to realize that spreading myself too thin can lead to burnout.
That’s why I’m limiting myself to just two social commitments per week.
By being more selective about how I spend my time, I can prioritize quality over quantity and nurture deeper, more meaningful relationships with the people who matter most to me.

My Boundaries For The Next 30 Days — In A Nutshell
Over the next 30 days, I’ll be navigating uncharted territory as I adhere to these newfound boundaries.
It won’t always be easy, and there may be moments of temptation to revert to old habits.
But I’m committed to honouring myself, my needs, and my aspirations.
By setting these boundaries, I’m not just carving out space for self-care; I’m carving out space for self-discovery, growth, and fulfilment.
And in the end, that’s a journey worth embarking on.
