My Annual Mammogram’s Experience

I met a friendly woman technician — a picture worth a million words.

I got my annual mammogram early today.

Make an appointment to get yours or consult your primary care doctor for advice if you’re under forty. Early breast cancer detection saves lives.

Always treat yourself better to expect the same from health care providers, friends, and family members.

I have done the mammogram screening for many years and know the routine.

Today’s visit was different in the new office and friendly technician. She appeared health conscious and wore her small mask.

She confirmed all my personal information and said, “I’ll give you a robe,” while walking to the dressing room.

That was strange because the technician never entered the dressing room or gave me a robe. Okay, a new office and I kept my fingers crossed. She came out and told me to change to the robe.

I went to the dressing room and saw a dirty blue robe on the bench. The dirty robe was strange, and I ignored it. I opened the cabinet with a smile and took out a clean robe. When I went out to meet the woman technician for the exam, I observed her eyes looking down on my clean robe with a twist on her forehead — anger right there.

Why was she mad?

Below are the photos for you to come up with your conclusion.

Remember

Women are in the best position to change the world for the better. It starts with me. It starts with us.

Treat yourself better. Know what you want.

Too often, an explanation is unnecessary, but ignore the stupidity. I chose not to waste my time and energy with bitter people who hate themselves and their jobs.

The best thing is to be awake and pay attention to yourself and your needs.

Help yourself grow.
