If you have read my previous post then I did mention that I have used Digistore in the past. Although I still have one affiliate program with them I don’t use them anymore.
But something unexpected happened this time. I set up my new blog on Medium and promoted one affiliate program through the digit store.

I started these Medium blogs as an experiment last year 2022.
Affiliate program one (writing niche) — $278.30
Affiliate program two — $120
Affiliate program three — $40
I am not promoting or working on affiliate marketing for a few months now as I am paying more attention to POD sites. But when I come back, I am sure the sales will increase. This time I am going to use ads for promotion.
Which Affiliate program did I promote?
I won’t be telling the affiliate programs because no one wants to reveal their micro niches. But I can help you with what sold the most and what doesn’t works out.
Niches that make me the most money -
- Writing software
- Email marketing
- Internet Security
email marketing and Internet security are directly affiliated with the company. writing software is through PartnerStack.
Niches that failed to make me money in affiliate marketing -
- fitness (if you want to go in this niche then go for micro-niche like vegan, fitness for women over 30s, get in shape after pregnancy, and so on)
- Recipes are old now.
- Quotes are the worst.
If you are getting into these niches then chances are that you have to do more work as actually the niches are saturated.
Avoid the middleman
I mostly now take affiliate programs from the company itself. But I liked a few programs that are available through ththirdarty marketplaces like PartnerStack.
I would say to avoid them and go direct with the company because they take heavy prices. Also, make sure that the company is legit and that people are already making decent money in it.
Which platform did I use?
I am mostly into Medium and Instagram. I will be using YouTube as well but there is still time for that.
