My 5 Goals For 2024:

Now that 2023 has passed, I want to share some of my upcoming goals with my audience about some things I would like to accomplish in 2024.
1. Travel for at least 6 weeks:
I had the best year of travel in my entire life in 2023. I went to amazing places like Switzerland, Germany, The Bahamas, Mexico, and just recently St.Lucia. While 2023 will be hard to top or even break even, I would like to come close to what I was able to do this past year, which is travel for almost 7 weeks of the year. I think it’s important to do what’s most important to us in our lives, for me I feel that when I have done a fair amount of traveling within the year, my life is much richer because of it.
2. Publish 2 Books in 2024:
As a self proclaimed bourbon enthusiast, I am currently working on a bourbon history book. The particular type of history book is going to be the first of its kind, and I’m super excited to publish it, although it requires a massive amount of research of information that is not very available. My second one, is a financial book targeted at younger people like myself, in a very specific situation that I don’t want to give away in this article until the book is published.
3. Monetize My YouTube Channel:
I have my own YouTube channel called black shirt bourbon, where I review different whiskies and discuss events going on within the bourbon world. I have been very consistent with uploading, but I am changing the way I do the videos and pushing as hard as I can for monetization.
4. Expanding My Business:
I also have my own bourbon based cologne company called Oak and Stave cologne. My business did decently well in sales, especially around Christmas time, but I would like to get my product in more stores, especially in a distillery gift shop.
5. Save Up More Cash:
In 2024, I would like to focus on having more cash on hand. The majority of my money is in my investments of course, but I would feel more comfortable with having some more cash on hand in case of an emergency or investment opportunity.
