30 Days of Writing Challenge: What I’ve Learned
In this story, I will share my 30 days writing challenge.
At the end of March, I started writing daily at medium. I do not care what I am writing. My purpose was to write and publish daily at medium. Finally, I am done with the 30 days challenge of writing.
In this 30 days challenge, I faced ill health, but the black dots pushed me to write daily. I was afraid of breaking the chains of black dots. For this, I ignored the health and tried to write at least 1 minute read story daily. By doing this, I consistently published 30 stories in 30 days. It has given a few life-saving lessons.
10 lessons: I learn from writing daily for 30 days?
1. Earning
Well, publishing on regular bases is of no use in front of earning, as I earn only a few pennies. I did not cross even $50s. So, earning at medium is becoming hard day by day. You have to put in a few more efforts, like engaging with other writers.
2. 30 days challenge loses its charm
30 days challenge remains no longer charming. It seems like a scam. I did not experience what other writers used to say previously — like getting more views, reads, and earnings. My 30 days challenge is not like theirs.
3. Producing Content
Writing for 30 days enables me to manage the content writing. It helps me to produce content daily. I sometimes use a little dialogue and transfer it into a story, such as Relationships Are Not Beautiful — Those Who Hold on Make Them Beautiful.
4. Daily efforts mean a lot
It helps me put some effort daily without taking care of the external situation. No one-stop me.
5. Urge that help to keep going on
I stay motivated for these 30 days challenge, which helps me prevent excuses. This motivation creates an urge to write daily.
6. Management
30 days challenge of writing is tough, but I managed to do so. During all this, I experienced laziness and a down heart, but I could not stop myself from writing. I do not want to repeat the previous laziness experience. That is why I keep publishing at a medium daily. I keep in mind the valuable lessons from laziness.
7. Beat procrastination
This challenge helps me in beating procrastination. I made up my mind that I had to complete this challenge, so I did it. I learned that when you aim for something, you will achieve it, irrespective of your circumstances.
8. Set and achieve the goal
Nothing can stop you from your goals. All you can do is hard work and leave the rest to the prayers.
9. Improve the writing
This writing challenge does change my thoughts. It helps in writing better. I can write my ideas in the form of stories. Before this, I used to share my thoughts in the form of poems.
10. Miss my poems
During this 30 days writing challenge, I did not write any poems. I miss my poems. If you want to enjoy my poems, you can check them from the lists.
