Music Helps During Lockdown

I can’t say it enough, but music makes me happy, especially in a situation likes this. When I take my violin, I don’t think about anything else than playing the violin.

Music has been a big part of my life. I still play the violin and I have a big musical history. I love it from the bottom of my heart. I even have a work playlist on YouTube.

In this time — being in isolation — music helps very much to distract from what is happening at the moment, although we have to stand still with what is happening. But some distraction is ok and which we may allow.

Also, this time makes us think about what motivates us to start practising. We can do play more on our instrument now there is more time. On times that suit us much more than when we have a work schedule.
