Murder Mystery #4 — Prize Money is $30
Yup, you read that right. We are starting the the next competition from tomorrow and the prize money has jumped from $10 to $30! All thanks to the winner of Murder Mystery #3 — Natalie!
She was kind enough to ask me to roll her prize money over to the next round of the competition so here we are :)
Alrighty, let the adventures of Detective Anna continue!
Allow me to re-iterate the rules:
What is the competition?
I have written a story.
I can hear exactly what you’re thinking right now — whoop-dee f*cking-doo mate.
Hear me out will ya?
I have written a murder mystery and I’d like YOU to find who the perp is before I reveal them to you in the story.
How will it work?
Everyday, for the next 6 days, I will release one chapter. Each chapter will be a 2–3 minute read.
The first person to guess who the killer is will be the winner, obviously.
What is the prize?
$30.
Equivalent to 6 months of Medium Membership.
The prize money is a small one but as this competition hopefully spreads I hope to keep increasing the prize money (I’m manifesting the day I can have $1000 prizes for all my competitions. That is bound to be helpful to more than a few people out there, I would say :)).
And there will be a new competition every week from now on. I hope this gives you something to look forward to during the dreaded work week.
How will you get paid?
PayPal.
If you haven’t got PayPal, I’m sorry but I won’t be able to transfer you the prize money if you do happen to win. But PayPal is super easy to get so I don’t think this will be an issue.
When will you get paid?
You will get paid after the last chapter is posted. I will reply to the correct guess after I’ve posted the last chapter asking for your PayPal email address to transfer the money to and then announce the winner in my following post.
Are there any rules to this competition?
Just three that I can think of at the moment:
- Your last guess is what counts.
- The first person to correctly guess is the winner.
- When making a guess, use this format -> MY GUESS: *insert killer’s name*. You don’t need to justify your choice.

HINT: Subscribing to my email list will ensure you never miss a chapter release giving you first dibs at making the right guess :) That’s not a rule by the way, just a suggestion.
