Mourning a Dying Day or celebrate a Morn?
An Epode

She gets on with life as a caretaker She’s a compassionate kinda gal She likes to wander on Sundays Being mindful during the week
She contemplates often about life after death Wondering about the meaning of life Right when she’s stuck in a daydream Her mind turns straight to the wheel of life
Sometimes I look at her and when I look into her eyes Two reflections portray her times and again Seeing her twinkling eyes gives me warmth from within… She thinks life’s worthwhile because of mortality Then why is her soul so torn in such duality? Longing for Heaven… Or living a brand-new day?
She likes to use words like lovely She enjoys hearing songs in stillness She muses about the hereafter At times when she heartens herself Her eyes capture a light exists in Spring Filling her with peaceful happiness once more
Sometimes I look at her and I look straight into her eyes Mirrored they reflect her soul stirrers The twinkles in her eyes telling her life’s journey… She knows that an end gives meaning to new beginnings Then why is it so hard for her to determine what she loves more? Mourning a dying day… Or celebrate a morn?
She likes to hang out with kindred spirits She loves to kick back in the richness of nature But when she is left all by herself Her mind wanders off on the waves of timeless incarnation
Spirits of her kind are beautiful, loving souls Empathic to their core and full of sincerity Conveyed compassionately to their loved ones Generous with omniscient love are their hearts
As she realizes she’s not here by chance Entirety suddenly seems to overflow with ethereal music In this most beautiful and living moment at daybreak She could hear the Spring’s Heart beating in it
Sometimes I look at her and I look right into her mirror Then all my contradictions disappear in me There’s a twinkling essence, every time I close my eyes Giving clearness to my elusive sight For it does not encompass what one should love more Only simply celebrating a dying day… Whilst waiting for dayspring to come
