Summarize

most moist

a poem

Photo by Maddi Bazzocco on Unsplash

this pandemic year has been the year I have been most hydrated, moistening myself internally simply because I know I do not have to wait between negative five to up to thirty-five minutes for the bus to arrive, distinct from any recognizable schedule

or simply because I can simply mute and turn off video and step out for a bathroom break when sometimes in-person meeting rooms trap you inside so deep that you have to trip over Sandy, accidentally unhook the projector and spill Tian’s now-cold coffee in order to reach the sweet, sweet door’s freedom.

Hi I’m Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她) and I just find the word “moist” and its derivatives to be hilarious and uncomfortable and that’s really the background to this entire poem.

Hop down the rabbit hole? 🐰🕳
