Morning Stillness
30 days of gratitude
Early-hour quietness, Mind calms in solitude’s grace, Bliss of morning’s peace.
When the whole house sleeps, My body breathes in calm, Mind thanks solitude.
I love the silence that envelops me in the early morning. I choose to leave behind the demands of the day during that first hour, and it’s truly blissful.
I begin my day with journaling because it helps awaken my mind. Journaling allows me to untangle the thoughts that might be muddled in my head. Sometimes, I find myself unable to write anything, and on those days, I simply let it be.
After journaling, I do yoga. However, there are days when I just sit doing nothing and spend the time in quiet contemplation.
I must start my day on my terms. I dislike rushing into a busy schedule right away. A slow morning is essential for me to be in the right mindset.
