Morning Juicing

We need all the vitamins

When my appointment got canceled this morning, it didn’t take me long to come up with a plan to keep busy.

“Juicing! I had to do it!” I said to myself.

I already had a big bag of multicolored large carrots, as well as sweet, ripe oranges and grapefruit that I had bought at Costco.

Grating and cutting the carrots took the longest, but I was determined to get a big juicing production going. The oranges were pretty easy to peel, and the grapefruit’s juices splashed like a fountain.

After two hours of cutting, slicing, and extracting all the vitamins in their most pure form, I was happy with my morning juicing.

I smiled thinking how much my son Alex will love the orange juice.

My heart was full — my hands orange from the carrots and citrus.
