More Springtime Flowers Ready to Show off

Sunday sonnet

So many plants are in bloom at one time. Some think they have to show off to be seen and luckily enough, some sure can climb on ninety degree days. Quite hot it’s been.

First spring came slowly now this summer heat. It’s only the first week of June and look. Two yellow swallowtails rise to some beat. Sent twirling, spinning, flying high they took

our spirits flying. Ash tree’s pollen falls. The day gets darker. Lightning cracks the sky. A little rain and then some thunder calls. I look again. More flowers meet the eye.

I’m not a bee or pollinator. Yet look at these beauties. What they want they get.
