More Post isn’t Helping Anymore on Medium

I believe Medium has Changed BIG!

Recently I’ve noticed a BIG change in the Medium algorithm, publications are taking a lot longer to post content and they are now complaining that there are too many writers flooding their publications.

Why are there so many writers?

Turns out, that’s not the case! More like the rise of AI writers has taken over. ChatGPT is a free online tool that can help writers write a short summarized article for writers.

The software is so trendy in fact that it became Medium top trendy reads. Writers begin to flood multiple writing platforms to push for more content in hopes to get monetized.

This definitely has led to Medium taking action with them playing around with the stats and curations requirement. Even Tom Kuegler thinks that the recent viewership on Medium has been getting a bit weird.

Stricter Curations

With Medium needing to step up its game, I guess that means getting curated on Medium is definitely going to be a lot tougher. And with the rise of ChatGPT, beginner writers just aren’t able to compete against them! AI writing style and grammar use are way better than an amateur writer.

What is Medium Looking Out For?

For now, we aren’t getting any news or update regarding the actions Medium will be taking to remove AI writing. If they do post it up, I will be sure to cover it. Until then, I will carry on writing!🤗
