Moonlight Dance

A Free Verse Poem Response to Jenny Justice Star Week Day 5 of 7

we looked toward the moon And invited it to dance With us, it did not decline, We danced and were Joyus within the Company our guest, Or, maybe we were Guests of the brilliant moon And realised not In our elated rapture.

The dancing became Wild as we Imerssed Ourselves, Intoxicated by the Shimmering energy, Our friend the moon Gifted to us, a rare Brilliant light not normally Felt here on the soft earthen Ground in this wooded surround Of our choosing.

This was a time we would Never repeat nor ever Forget should mornings Passing allow us to remember.
